The ACCA has confirmed that as from June 2015, students taking the professional level papers will be allowed to sit these papers (that is P1 – P7) in any order the student prefers.
At the advanced level, students are better able to understand the paper combinations best suited to them.
It was discussed that, by the time students reach the Professional papers, they will have a good base knowledge to choose not only the appropriate order, but the most relevant papers to them. For example, it may help a student study P1 and P5 together if they contain any similar content.

It should make studying fairly easier, if the appropriate paper combinations are selected. The choice of combinations are at each students discretion.
As well as the article on paper combinations, the syllabus for each subject contains a diagrammatic representation of related papers, which should serve as a guide.
